Summary
- Licensing and Compliance
RBKC have issued the summary determination of new licence.
The club is currently awaiting RBKC final version of decision granted following the licence application and hearing. There are no plans to pursue additional premises licensing currently.
A parallel application for a special treatments licence (beauty and health), awaits RBKC final decision and granting.
- Parking and Access Control
Parking management has significantly improved. SIA staff are now actively refusing entry to the premises to those attempting to park in the Square. Members and Guests must move and park elsewhere to gain entry. As a result, the number of member warnings has dropped dramatically.
That said, TRG takes on recent resident feedback and comments on SIA in the Sqaure, as replied to in recent email response to KSRA and RBKC (sent 17th July 2025). Certain ‘less-visible’ parking areas and positioning of SIA near the gaps still require enhanced monitoring to ensure consistent enforcement. TRG has commented that while not always seen, SIA radio communications and use of the Parking App has increased since the ‘refusal’ rule has been in place. 2 warnings issued where number plate and guest/member identified as parking, but SIA unable to intervene in lobby/on door.
Total Parking statistics to July 20th- Parking Violation Warnings – 263
- Final Warnings – 14
- Membership Terminations – 3
- Vehicle parked & moved (refused entry rule began 7th May) – 71
- New Restaurant Areas and Noise Management
Build works are ongoing in the seventh-floor restaurant, with preparations well underway. Noise remains a key concern for residents, especially in relation to 7th floor terrace use on a regular basis. TRG state that will be monitored and that they have held several events already with no issues on 7th floor and Esme’s. Sound limiters are installed across all restaurant zones (on perimeter wall), and sound management protocols are being followed to ensure full compliance. - Supplier Deliveries and Peak Activity
Early morning disturbances appear to be linked to third-party deliveries and rubbish collection vehicles operating before 7am, including services provided by external suppliers such as GeoPost and the building manager’s waste contractor. The club continues to ensure that its own deliveries take place after 7am and, while it does not oversee or manage external contractors operating within the building, it remains mindful of its role within the wider community. The club is open to engaging in discussions with building management to explore potential ways to help reduce early morning disruption where feasible.
KSRA noted that suspected TRG delivery drivers have parked in the Sq., to make deliveries. TRG has identified those suppliers not for TRG, but those that are, have been contacted and warned (KSRA showed a May 2025 photo of a van which is a TRG supplier and TRG contacted the company the morning after the meeting).
- Membership Behaviour and Enforcement
Behavioural standards among members are being maintained. The recent tightening of entry policies has contributed to a notable reduction in warnings and no unusual trends in membership terminations have been observed. Enforcement appears consistent and effective. - RBKC presence in meetings
Alex has identified a new point of contact at RBKC, Philip, who is yet to confirm if he is the appropriate person.
