Summary:
Smoking Policy & Staff Conduct
The smoking policy has now been finalised and fully implemented. During the discussion, a question was raised regarding staff conduct. It was reiterated in the strongest possible terms that the consumption of any illegal substances by staff is strictly prohibited under all circumstances. Any breach of this policy would result in disciplinary proceedings against the staff member.
Parking Security App Development
Progress continues the development of the parking security app. Some technical challenges have arisen in connection with the App Store, which are being addressed ahead of the app’s public release. A mock-up demonstration will be arranged for the next residents’ meeting. TRG currently operates two systems in parallel, with the desired outcome of the successful launch of the integrated TRG app a priority.
New Premises Licence Update
Club Director Luis Simoes will be appointed as the new DPS, succeeding Rob Seals from 13th November 2025 when new licence comes into effect.
Complaints Received
One complaint was received in the last month from residents, relating to a late night/early morning maintenance visit by Aquaflow. Residents acknowledged that Aquaflow’s service is used by various tenants in building including Avison Young themselves and that things have since improved.
Upcoming Events
- Halloween Party (30th October 2025): Confirmed as the largest upcoming event. Additional security measures are in place throughout the venue. No supplementary entertainment is planned, and existing sound limitations remain strictly observed
- New Year’s Eve: Identified as the next major event on the calendar
Parking Statistics
Over the past month, 50 vehicles were turned away, bringing the total to 173 since the introduction of the current system of entry refusal (since May 2025). No warnings for parking have been issued to members.
Venue Updates
- Komorebi Restaurant (7th Floor): Now open
- Screening Room (5th Floor): Expected to open in late November or early December. The space, currently under planning review with the landlord, will seat 18 guests and will primarily serve as a private screening and private hire
